Advanced Search Help Advanced Search gives you the chance to narrow your search parameters and find jobs that meet your unique requirements. Keyword (required): Use the keyword field to search text throughout the job ads. Enter a skill, a city or anything that you want to see in the ad. The keyword field supports Boolean search operators. Boolean searches: and searches for jobs containing all words (i.e. "Oracle and Sybase") or searches for jobs containing either word (i.e. "Oracle or Sybase") not eliminates jobs containing a word (i.e. "Oracle not Sybase") entering a phrase will find jobs that contain the entire phrase (i.e. "project management") * acts as a wildcard (i.e. "multi*" or "*media") State(s) (required): Select the state(s) you wish to search. To select multiple states, hold down the CTRL (or option on the Mac) key. Optional fields You can also search for words in any or all of the specified fields, including Job Title, Required Skills, Job Description, and City. To see only contract or permanent positions, check the appropriate Employment Type box. To see jobs with Start-up companies only, select Only under Startups. Same with Entry-Level positions. If you want to see jobs posted within the last few days, select the appropriate number in the pull-down menu. Note: We are continuously receiving and posting jobs on ComputerJobs.com, so if you select jobs posted in the past day, some may not be on the site yet. Also, if it's a holiday, we may not have posted all the jobs yet. Check back or try broadening your search. Example To find all jobs for Visio developers in Atlanta, Georgia, try: Keyword: visio State: Georgia Job Title: developer City: Atlanta With a little creative searching, you'll find exactly what you're looking for. If you want more hits, try being less specific. Good luck! |
